A common question from B2B buyers is: "If blue drops work for hydrogen water bottles, can we use them for hydrogen inhalation machines?"
The short answer is: Absolutely not.
The core reason comes down to different measurement dimensions—Blue Drops measure dissolved concentration in liquid (PPM), whereas inhalation machines measure gas output rate (mL/min). Attempting to use blue drops on a gas output is not only operationally impossible but scientifically incorrect for three main reasons:
🔹 1. Different Physical States: Liquid vs. Gas
Hydrogen Bottles: The hydrogen gas is dissolved into the water under pressure. The liquid reagent can directly react with the dissolved \(H_{2}\) molecules.
Inhalation Machines: These devices emit pure hydrogen gas. Dropping a liquid reagent at the gas outlet allows no way for the two to mix quantitatively—the liquid will simply slide off without any reaction.
🔹 2. The Hard Limit of Water (Physical Saturation)
Some might wonder: "What if I pump the hydrogen gas into a glass of water first, and then test the water?"
The result would be completely meaningless.
Under standard temperature and pressure, the maximum solubility limit (saturation point) of hydrogen in water is only about 1.6 ppm.
An inhalation machine generates a massive volume of gas. The water will hit that 1.6 ppm physical limit within seconds.
After that, over 99% of the ongoing hydrogen gas will simply bubble out and escape into the air. Testing this water will always net around "1.6 ppm" (proving only that the water is full), completely failing to show whether your machine outputs 100 mL/min or 3000 mL/min.
🔹 3. Entirely Different Metrics of Quality
Hydrogen Bottles = Concentration: We care about the density of hydrogen we swallow, measured in PPM/PPB. Blue drops fit perfectly.
Inhalation Machines = Flow Rate & Purity: We care about the volume of pure gas inhaled per minute, measured in mL/min. Blue drops cannot measure any volumetric flow rate.
📊 How Do We Prove the Real Performance of an Inhalation Machine?
We use the industry-standard, globally recognized physical benchmark—The Water Displacement Method.

In this video, you can see firsthand how the high-flow hydrogen-oxygen gas precisely displaces the water in a massive graduated cylinder within 1 minute. It is hard evidence of our machine's real-time output and premium engineering!
